JULY 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the postponement of the 7th International Symposium on Negative Ion Beams and Sources (NIBS 2020) that was to be held in Auckland, New Zealand.
Instead, the symposium is being held as an online video conference from September 1st to the 11th. Staff from BINP, UKRI-STFC, University of Auckland, IPP, SNS, D-Pace, LANL, LAPLACE, NIFS, QST, IPR and Doshisha University will be assisting. Focusing on the various aspects of the production and use of negative ions, the conference will be held in four different time zones in 4-hour long sessions. Each session will be recorded so everyone will be able to view at a time of their choosing.

The Auckland based NIBS conference will now be the 8th Symposium and has been rescheduled for 2022.
